Dwight Johnson, President and CEO of ITS Technologies & Logistics (“ITS”), announced today the following management changes at American Auto Works (“AAW”).

Tony Schrader has accepted the position of Vice President of AAW. Tony has been with AAW since it was acquired by ITS in 2011, and was a part-owner of Ramp Management (AAW’s predecessor) since its inception in 2006. Overall, he has 24 years of experience in the industry and most recently served as the AAW Ramp Manager at the BNSF Alliance facility.

In his new role, Tony will be responsible for the entire operation of all of AAW’s 13 ramps, as well as all safety and customer relations. Reporting directly to Tony will be Carl Eliasson, Safety Manager, Newt Winslett and Justin Elliott. Tony will continue to be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Joining Tony in a new leadership role with AAW is Newt Winslett. Newt has accepted the position of Director of Operations. In addition to continuing to work closely with ITS’ Mark Smith to oversee all the AAW switching operations, the Ramp Managers for the AAW South Region will report directly to Newt. Like Tony, Newt also has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has filled many roles within AAW and Ramp Management.

Justin Elliott has also accepted additional responsibility within AAW, and will be responsible for the North Region of AAW. Most recently, Justin has been working with the new Ramp Manager in St. Paul as well as with the leadership of LPC in Elwood, IL. Justin has also served as the Ramp Manager in Memphis and Las Vegas.

Tony, Newt and Justin are replacing Mike Willis who is moving on to new challenges. Through Mike’s vision and foresight, he built a successful company that became the backbone of AAW. Mike stayed with the ITS organization when AAW was purchased and has ensured the success of the organization going forward.
